This morning, experience The Churchill War Rooms. The museum comprises the Cabinet War Rooms, a historic underground complex that housed a British government command center throughout the Second World War, and the Churchill Museum, a biographical museum exploring the life of British statesman, Winston Churchill. Later, visit the Tower of London, a historic castle off the north bank of the river Thames. Visit this majestic piece of history that was founded during the Norman Conquest of England in 1066 and was finished by William the Conqueror in 1078. See the famous Yeoman Warders, also known as the Beefeaters, who faithfully guard the tower.  B

This morning, board a train to Windsor Castle. Visit the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world and home to British monarchs for over 900 years. Originally built in the 11th century by William the Conqueror, the castle has undergone numerous renovations and expansions over the centuries, resulting in a unique blend of architectural styles. Enjoy free time this afternoon to explore London on your own. Perhaps do some shopping at famous Harrods department store or Covent Garden. You may choose to visit the British Museum for some history or the Tate Modern for innovative modern and contemporary artworks. B

After breakfast at the hotel, board your private motorcoach and say farewell to London. Visit Bletchley Park, home of the WW2 Codebreakers, once Britain’s best kept secret and now a vibrant heritage attraction. You can try out the code-breaking machines and learn about Alan Turing and his team. Then continue to Warwick Castle, a medieval castle developed from a wooden fort, built by William the Conqueror in 1068. Warwick Castle became one of the best known strongholds during the Hundred Years War, when it served as an example for many military stone castles that were created in 14th and 15th century. During its thousand year long history, several families served as the custodians of Warwick Castle. Tightly connected to the crown, this castle played a pivotal role in the advancement of castle construction, it hosted nobility from all around the world, served as a playing ground to the famous knight games that became integral part of the European medieval history.
